Course Description
Certification
for Exchange 2000 measures the student’s knowledge and skills required to
install, configure, administer, design and troubleshoot Exchange 2000. Students
will become proficient in installing, upgrading, configuring and designing
Exchange 2000, learn to analyze business requirements, existing and planned
resources, manage recipient objects and system growth, monitor and manage
message connectivity, and design for fault tolerance and data recovery of
Exchange 2000 Server. Classroom instruction is intense, 8-10 hours daily,
consisting of a combination of lectures, hands-on labs and exam preparation.

Prerequisites
A minimum of 1 year of
experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Exchange
environments with multiple locations, mixed client protocols, internet
messaging, connectivity to foreign mail systems, multiple or complex name
resolution systems. Knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Internet
Information Server is highly desirable.
